Artist Statement
My paintings are based on hurried sketches of moving images or photographs that my consciousness has not fully processed. Recognizing the neurological aspect of storing memories and the influence images have on experience, I focus on creating opportunities for shared meaning where a viewer’s memories can mingle with my painted, incomplete memories.
